OMEGA Tank Marine. Circa 1930. Ref: CK679. N°8862763. Model launched in 1932 by Omega with this case patented under the number 146310. This invention was also patented in France under N° 710316, in Great Britain under N° 365356, in the USA under N° 1907700, in Germany under N° 567213. These different patent numbers are engraved on the back of the second case. The Omega Marine was the first watch to be tested at a depth of more than 70 meters. In 1936, it reached 73 m. for 30 minutes in Lake Geneva at a temperature of 5°. Stainless steel wristwatch, tank case, signed white dial, Arabic numerals index, railway. Mechanical movement with manual winding. Brown leather strap, folding clasp signed Hadley period. Double case that fits together. Dimensions: 23 x 28 mm. Length: 18 cm.
