1970 SIMPAR
N°1769706 French title Simpar is a French company specialized in four-wheel drive transmissions, whose name meant "Without equal". But the history of Simpar is more complex since the firm was founded in 1907 and was originally a car manufacturer, the activity ceased in 1914. The name Simpar reappeared in 1946, still at the initiative of the same man, Léon Demeester, this time the company specialized in winches, transfer cases and 4×4 transmissions, first for trucks and then for passenger cars, with Renault as a partner. Renault eventually absorbed this company in 1975 through Saviem and disappeared in 1980. The proposed model is with twin wheels, its bodywork was made by Alquier Frères in Mazamet. It is up to you to realize the wish of the current owner: the project to convert it into a "workshop house" to go to the circuit paddocks.
