1982 FERRARI 400I CABRIOLET
Serial number: ZFFEB07B000043257 Cleared, 846 A To be registered in collection The Ferrari 400 is the touring car of the prancing horse brand, designed by Pininfarina. Built on a 365 GT4 2+2 base, the 4.3 V12 is increased to 4.8 and offers 340 hp installed at the front of the car. From its previous version, Pininfarina only modified a few details, notably the headlights and the front skirt. In 1979, the 400i was born, which saw its carburetors replaced by a Bosch K-Jetronic injection and its power increased to 315 hp. This Ferrari 400i was modified in California in 1984 at G&K Automotive Conversion. It is delivered in a beautiful navy blue contrasting with a beige interior. The body is in good overall condition, as are the five-nut wheels. The interior is sound even if a good cleaning is required. Of American origin, this V12 convertible is quite rare. It is a sporty car, pleasant to drive and family car at the same time. Its typical 80's design marks a break with the older Ferraris. A complete overhaul is required before taking the road as this car has not been driven for a long time.
