1985 KAWASAKI GPZ 750 TURBO
Serial number 003742 Sold with a copy of the French car registration document. Kawasaki was the last Japanese manufacturer to offer a turbo engine on one of its bikes. But the maturation of the project had its reasons and the 750 GPZ 750 Turbo was the best in its class when it was released in 1983. With 11 kilograms less on the scale, it had identical performance to its big sister, the ZX 1100. Its engine developed 112 horsepower at 9,000 rpm for a torque of 10 mkg at 6,500 rpm. Above all, it had the advantage of being truly healthy. Its engine was not hollow below 4500 rpm, becoming frank without being violent until 6500 rpm and then extremely nasty until 9000 rpm! Produced only two years ago, this motorcycle is now a collector's item and sought after by collectors. This Kawasaki GPZ 750 Turbo is in correct original condition. It will need a restart, as well as a general overhaul. Sold without key. Thanks to François-Marie Dumas and his website moto-collection.org for the help on the description of this bike.
