1968 CITROËN DYANE D6
Serial number 561 078 Rare D6 version without rear quarter windows Second hand French registration In 1965, Citroën bought Panhard in order to take over its factories and assemble 2CV vans. Panhard's engineering teams were also given the task of developing a replacement for the 2CV under severe constraints: it had to be assembled using the 2CV's tooling, take in as many 2CV and Ami 6 parts as possible, and be fitted with a tailgate. A major restyling of the 2CV was therefore envisaged. Thus in 1968, the Dyane D6 appears, replacing the top-of-the-range finishes of the 2CV. It only remained in the catalogue for a few months, powered by the 603cc engine of the Ami 6, and was replaced in 1969 by the Dyane 6, which was replaced by the Dyane 4. This 1968 Citroën Dyane D6 is a second hand car, since 1979. Out of the barn, the car is sound despite a few dents on its original bodywork. Above all, it is one of the few surviving Dyane D6, with the particularity of not having rear quarter windows. A real collector Citroën.
