Du centre de la Vieille Charité, Musée des Beaux-Arts de Marseille, 28 October 1994 - 30 January 1995, RMN, Paris, 1994 This beautiful terracotta head sculpted in appliqué bears the signature of the famous French sculptor Pierre Puget, whose career was particularly marked in Genoa. It is also in this city that some of the works of the Roman sculptor Alessandro Algardi are preserved and admired, particularly his bust of Saint John the Evangelist (Church of Santi Vittore e Carlo) from which our artist was inspired.
