All bound or mounted on tabs, in a small volume in-4, half burgundy grief with corners, spine with nerves, garnet title piece on the first plate, leather passed (René Aussourd). TENDERLY IRONIC PICTURE OF BIBLIOPHILY. In 1895, the bibliophile Pierre Dauze ordered from Verlaine 24 sonnets for his Revue biblio-iconographique, the poet wrote 13 of them but died before the completion of the complete series. Five of these sonnets appeared in the periodical, and the 13 pieces appeared in a collection shortly after Pierre Dauze's death in 1913. The present set brings together 5 of these sonnets and 7 letters written to Pierre Dauze in connection with the Biblio-sonnets project: "Le bon Client s'évanouir? Le bon Client s'évanouir?
