1964 PORSCHE 356 C 1600 S
Serial number 126838 Known history Matching numbers Technical inspection done French title This Porsche 356 was delivered new in Belgium on January 13, 1964. Its first owner worked and lived most of the year in England, which is why the car was equipped with right-hand drive. The car thus remained in the same family until 2007, then arriving in France. It underwent a partial restoration of its bodywork and a painting in 2009 by Atelier Ares. Subsequently, it was regularly maintained, including classic revisions, as well as a repair of the braking system or the clutch. In 2018, the Porsche changed ownership and saw its right-hand drive removed in favor of a left-hand drive, this, carried out at Ares. Today the Porsche is in an excellent presentation condition. Its white paint code 6404 Light Ivory was very well applied, did not budge and presents beautiful reflections. The Reuter body number 126838 is well aligned and retains its original numbers on its doors, trunk and hood. In the passenger compartment, the upholstery was partly renewed and the carpets replaced, all in very good condition. The 1600 cc 75 horsepower engine number 711095 is in normal working order and its bespoke stainless steel exhaust gives it a very pleasing sound to the ear. The Gearbox number 1259 type 616/15 is working normally. It is therefore a beautiful example of Porsche 356 C that we are offering for sale today. It will be sold with a file of invoices and photos of the work carried out, especially on the bodywork. File available on request.
