1936 DELAHAYE 132 COACH TOURAINE Serial number 46321 Bodywork by Sical A unique past Real second hand since 1997 Beautiful state of old restoration French collection title This Delahaye 132 Coach Touraine was bodied by Sical and was put into circulation in 1936. Acquired new by Madame Vielle, from a family of lace-makers in Lens, the Delahaye did not cover many kilometers but seems to have been driven during the Second World War according to the painting which adorned it before its restoration. After the death of Madame Vielle, her son had the Delahaye on hold in 1953, in the office adjoining the large dining room, accessible from the outside from the interior courtyard of the buildin. It stayed there for 44 years, until the building was sold in 1997. However, the building had changed over time and the Delahaye found itself imprisoned. The family thus contacted Club Delahaye in order to solve this problem and avoid the destruction of this family heritage which represented the car. This is how its current owner, then administrator of the Club, tells us about his discovery and rescue in the Club newsletter: "" She's been up there for more than forty years, I've been looking for an honest solution to move her for more than 10 years, and I only have 3 months left before the new owner of the building cuts her up "had specified General to our President Looten.
