1993 MORGAN PLUS 8 (+8)
Serial number R10722 Same owner since 1998 41300 kilometres on the odometer Nice color scheme Rare V8 version Technical inspection blank less than 6 months old French car registration document The Morgan Plus 8 was introduced in 1968 in England. Developed by Maurice Owen, it is based on a modified Plus 4 chassis. Equipped with a V8 Rover engine attached to the Moss gearbox and a Salisbury axle with limited slip differential. The model gradually evolved until the V8 Rover disappeared in 2003. In 1983, the Plus 8 adopts fuel injection before switching to a 3.9L displacement in 1990. Developing 190 horsepower for a weight of only 940 kilograms, the Morgan Plus 8 goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 6 seconds and reaches 200 kilometres per hour in rush hour! A true sports car with a very classic design that delivers a lot of thrills! This Morgan Plus 8 was sold new in England on April 1, 1993. It was imported to France in 1997 by an English car specialist. Converted to left-hand drive, it was acquired by its current owner in January 1998. Since then, it has been maintained regularly, including frequent oil changes. In 2009, we note a replacement of the water pump and a general overhaul, the car had 32,489 kilometers on the odometer. Today, the Morgan has 41,300 kilometres on the odometer and is in its original condition. The Old English White paint has a few minor weather-related flaws, giving the car a nice patina. It's all in keeping with a burgundy interior with cream-colored gauges. Behind the wheel, the Morgan reacts well, the engine offers good rpm increases and gears shift smoothly. Braking is good and overall handling is healthy, so it came by the road from Lorraine. This is an extremely high performance car with a timeless and inimitable style that would be the ideal companion for any orienteering rally!
