Louis Pierre DESEINE, according to. "The Duke of BOURBON (1756-1830)" Bust in patinated plaster (small accidents) with brass cartridge. Ht: 75 cm. Width: 53 cm. Depth: 32 cm. A.B.E. Biography : Louis Henry Joseph de Bourbon, 9th century. prince de Condé (Chantilly 1756-Saint-Leu 1830), he bears the title "Duke of Bourbon". Governor of Franche-Comté, he took part in the siege of Gibraltar in 1782. Emigrated in July 1789, he served in the "Army of Condé", which commanded his father, and retired to England in 1801. He returned to France in 1814. Discovered hung in his castle of Saint-Leu, his death remains an enigma. With him Conde's house is shutting down.
