In-folio, (361) ff. including the first white, title printed in red ink. Without numbering or signatures,[a-s10],[t8],[v-z10],[A-E10],[F12 with white cut F8 with a large stub left],[DD-II10], JJ12. Binding with two brown basane inserts on wooden troughs, back with nerves with handwritten title label in Latin and with title in French in posterior ink, a front flyleaf kept at the end of the volume, rubbed binding with epidermides, worm work on the first and last ff. with, in the last 13, reaching a few letters, some marginal wetnesses at the last ff. rare ink stains (18th century binding). BEL INCUNABLE, with typographic mark engraved on wood with colophon. THE "TABULA AUREA", AN ESSENTIAL TOOL FOR CONSULTING THE VAST THOMISTIC CORPUS. A Dominican known as Peter of Bergamo, Pietro Maldura (around 1400-1482) taught theology in Bologna. Its "golden table", as it was soon called, is in the form of an alphabetical thematic index. Originally published in 1473, it remained in use for several centuries, since it was included in the reference edition of the complete works of the "Angelic Doctor" published in 1570, the famous Piana, named after Pope Pius V who was its patron. Old annotations of several hands, in ink: initials returned, some Latin headline mentions ("judex","de libro arbitro","luxuria","resurrectio","revelatio", etc.), some marginal features, list of Latin abbreviations stuck on the first flying guard in the 19th century.
