HEMINGWAY (Ernest). Letter signed with autograph corrections and long autograph apostille to Abner Green. Keywest, December 24, 1935. 1 p. 1/4 typed and 3/4 p. autographed in pencil, fragile paper with slightly crumpled edges, envelope preserved. They also hate kidding. If you did, that would mean loss of their dignity... If you go to the meetings and put your name on the letterheads you are fashionable and if you do your goddamnest against war and fascism knowing what both of them are and having seen plenty of both and how to hit them where they hurt and keep on trying to do it, why, you are a shit who writes rubbish for the Men's Clothing Trade Journal... »
