1967 saw the introduction of the Silver Shadow cabriolet, the fruit of a new partnership between Rolls-Royce and London coachbuilder H.J Mulliner Park Ward. Its widely acclaimed comfort is characterized by the suppleness of its suspension, the silence of its V8 engine and its equipment (air conditioning, car radio, power steering, electrically adjustable seats, electrically operated soft top...).
This Rolls-Royce convertible changed its name from Silver Shadow to Corniche in March 1971. Numerous improvements were made over time.
In 1977, the car was completely redesigned as the Corniche II, and remained in the catalog until 1989, when the Corniche III was launched.
Our Corniche II Cabriolet is one of the last to be produced, delivered new by Rolls Royce agent British Royal Motorcars of Houston. Its service book indicates that the car will be maintained by the same dealership until 1993. In 2014, the car reappeared in California, where it was serviced by the brand's Los Angeles network. In 2019, its current owner acquired it from the same dealership.
Once imported into France, a general overhaul will be carried out, including a rebuild of the hood and woodwork, at a cost of over 20,000 euros.
This Rolls-Royce has the major advantage of being both historic and sound. A symbol of the 80s, like the Testarossa or the 930, it is a distinguished cabriolet with a timeless look and contemporary comfort, in a good state of presentation and working order.

This Rolls-Royce convertible changed its name from Silver Shadow to Corniche in March 1971. Numerous improvements were made over time. The result was a car that propelled itself straight into the 21st century without any difficulty, quite the opposite in fact.
In 1977, the car was completely redesigned to become the Corniche II, and remained in the catalog until 1989, when the Corniche III was launched.
