1932 Buick Series 90 4-Door Club Sedan Chassis: 2631333 French vintage vehicle registration document Introduced in 1932, the Buick Series 90 represented the top of the range for the American brand, both in terms of its finish and its engine. It is equipped with a 3,350 cc inline 8-cylinder engine developing 113 hp at 3,200 rpm, capable of reaching 130 km/h, a remarkable performance for the time. Only 1,368 examples of this 7-seater version — thanks to two integrated folding seats — were produced. This example has a full range of optional equipment including a chrome grille, a single-bar bumper, a touring trunk with its support, and a clock, which was moved to the glove compartment to allow for the installation of a radio at the time. It also benefits from long steering arms that turn with the wheels, a rare and sophisticated feature for this generation. The car is in good condition and runs well. The carburettor and fuel pump have been overhauled. A slight adjustment or enrichment of the carburettor may be considered for optimal performance, as the car currently requires a little choke when cold. The three-speed manual gearbox works well, and the drive is smooth and pleasant, offering a driving experience typical of large American saloons of the 1930s. A prestigious and well-equipped model, this Buick Series 90 combines period elegance, mechanical nobility and rarity, while remaining usable in today's road conditions.
