1953 EMW Type R35-3 Version soviétique N° série : 242977 350 cm3 Carte grise de collection 5 000 / 8 000 € En 1928, BMW avait acquis le constructeur automobile allemand Dixi et son usine située à Eisenach, une ville de Thuringe située à 400 km environ au nord de Munich. BMW y fabrique certains de ses modèles d'automobiles les plus puissants, comme la 325. Lorsqu'en 1940 le gouvernement allemand ordonne à l'industrie de se consacrer quasi exclusivement à l'effort de guerre, BMW arrête la production de R 35 à Munich et transfère à Eisenach le stock de pièces détachées encore invendues. À la fin de la guerre, Eisenach se trouve en zone occupée soviétique puis est intégrée dans la République Démocratique Allemande. L'usine d'Eisenach est réquisitionnée et, en 1945, reprend la fabrication d'automobiles puis démarre celle de motos R 35. Trois versions de R 35 sont successivement fabriquées entre 1945 et 1955 à Eisenach sous la marque BMW puis, à partir de 1952, EMW : la R35/1, identique à la R 35 d'avant-guerre ; la R 35/2, dotée d'une fourche télescopique hydraulique et produite quelques mois en 1952 et la R 35/3, avec fourche hydraulique, suspension arrière coulissante et changement de vitesses au pied, et, à partir de 1953, pré équipée pour être attelée en side-car. Le dossier comprend de nombreux documents sur la marque. Cette machine avait été restaurée par son ancien propriétaire. It was here that BMW built some of its most powerful models, such as the 325. When, in 1940, the German government ordered industry to devote itself almost exclusively to the war effort, BMW stopped production of the R 35 in Munich and transferred the stock of unsold spare parts to Eisenach. At the end of the war, Eisenach was in the Soviet-occupied zone, then integrated into the German Democratic Republic. The Eisenach plant was requisitioned and, in 1945, resumed production of automobiles, followed by R 35 motorcycles. Between 1945 and 1955, three versions of the R 35 were successively produced in Eisenach under the BMW brand and, from 1952, under the EMW brand: the R 35/1, identical to the pre-war R 35; the R 35/2, equipped with a hydraulic telescopic fork and produced for a few months in 1952; and the R 35/3, with hydraulic fork, sliding rear suspension and foot-operated gearshift, and, from 1953, pre-equipped to be coupled as a sidecar. The file includes numerous documents on the brand. This machine had been restored by its previous owner.
