Après une réception controversée en 1872 de sa toile Una mandria di bufali nelle paludi pontine, jugée marginale, il revient à son premier amour: la représentation des paysages de la Campagna Romana et de l'Agro Pontino, avec l'emprise très nette du peintre Nino COSTA. Italian painter and watercolorist, Enrico Coleman is influenced by his father, Charles Coleman, a specialist in animal representation. After a controversial reception in 1872 of its work Una Mandria di bufali nelle paludi pontine, considered marginal, he returned to his first love: the representation of the landscape of the Campagna Romana and Agro Pontino, with the clear influence of the painter Nino Costa
