History: Through the rediscovery of this oil on canvas, Lalauze pays tribute to French cavalry through the ages, from the First Empire with Murat and Lasalle at the forefront, to the July Monarchy, the Second Empire and their heirs, the soldiers of 1914 recognizable by their Adrian helmets.
