Cairo, 5 fructidor an VI [August 22, 1798]. One p. in-8 oblong; tear with lack restored without damage to text. "The cadi of Mansoura [between Cairo and Damietta], who had come here to plead the cause of the inhabitants of this city, returns to Mansoura. He claims that the inhabitants are not guilty of the massacre of the French [on August 10, 1798]. Check the facts, and if they are true, give him the protection he deserves...".
