1967 JAGUAR TYPE E 4.2 Series 1 2+2 - Lot 40
1967 JAGUAR TYPE E 4.2 Series 1 2+2 - Chassis J671E77253 - Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate - Beautiful original color - One of the last Series 1 - French collector's registration - No reserve This Jaguar E-Type was launched on March 6, 1967 in New York. It is a genuine Jaguar Type E 4.2 L Coupé 2+2 "Series 1", although its visible headlights may suggest a ½ series. In fact, this model was produced only between December 1967 and September 1968. After delivery, we trace it back to 1996, when it was registered in the state of Illinois. This owner kept it until 2015, when it was imported into France. It was during this period that the car was restored (invoices not present). In 2016, its current owner acquired it, looking for a car to drive around with his family. He chose this 2+2. Since its acquisition, the crankshaft bearings and crankcase gaskets have been replaced. Today, this Jaguar is sound in its history, with its Jaguar Heritage certificate of authenticity issued in June 2016. A very rare version, this 1967 Series 1 allows you to share the pleasure of driving an E-Type with your family. Although in good general condition, the rear brakes will need to be serviced to obtain a valid MOT. This Jaguar represents a great opportunity to discover the joys of a Type E for a fairly reasonable price. 1967 JAGUAR TYPE E 4.2 Series 1 2+2 - J671E77253 chassis - Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate - Beautiful original color - One of the last series 1 - French Collection registration certificate This Jaguar E-Type was put on the road on March 6, 1967 in New York.
