Hôpital Broussais, Paris, September 18, 1893. 14vers occupying 3/4p. in-8, autograph marginal note "Dédicaces"; one margin a little frayed, wide wetness in lower margin affecting date, signature and three words of the poem. Sonnet published in February 1894 in the Revue blanche under the title "Contre la jalousie", then, under the present title "Àl'aimée", included in the second edition of his collection Dédicaces published in 1894.
