Recueil de divers ouvrages en prose et en vers. AParis, chez Jean Baptiste Coignard, 1676. In-12, ornate marbled brown calf; spotting on boards and margins of last leaves (contemporary binding). Second edition, published the year after the original. -Rabelais (François). LesŒuvres. S.l.n.n., 1675. 2 parts in one large volume in-12, stiff parchment with title in ink on spine, gilt coat of arms on boards; spine split and missing (contemporary binding). Provenance: unidentified coat of arms of Maurizio Giachetti (ex-libris vignette). First edition to include the key to proper names.
