In-16, 42-(2d of which the second is blank)pp. in old-pink half-maroquin with corners, ribbed spine with flowers, gilt fillet on the edges of the boards, gilt head, covers and spine preserved (H. Duhayon). First edition, copy on wove paper. Frontispiece reproducing a drawing by Félicien Rops. Enriched copy with an autograph letter signed by Paul Verlaine, addressed to the publisher Léon Vanier: "My dear Vanier, I would be much obliged if you would come to my house once in a while so that we can work alone. Don't come tomorrow morning. From mid-morning onwards, I shall be waiting impatiently for you. Your P.Verlaine".
