In-12 square, banded half-chagrin with triangular relief on spine, gilt head, covers and spine preserved. Numbered copy on cream-colored Rives laid paper. Woodcut frontispiece by Pierre-Eugène Vibert. In 1946, this copy was enriched with 78 original drawings by the painter Émile Beaume, many of them signed: 8watercolors in color, 2watercolors in two colors (including the enhanced engraved frontispiece), 49watercolors in monochrome brown or red chalk, and 19sketches in monochrome brown or graphite. Of these 78 drawings, 3 are double-page and 17 are full-page (3 on added leaves). With autograph letter from the artist to Max Brun. -Histoire du chevalier DesGrieux et de Manon Lescaut.
