Edition for which no first copies were printed on large paper. Superb copy, enriched with 2 items: an autograph letter signed by Alphonse de Lamartine to Dr. Charles-Alexandre Morin (1861), thanking him for sending his book Larrey, poëme en trois chants; and a letter concerning the tomb of Abbé Dumont at Bussières in Saône-et-Loire, which inspired Alphonse de Lamartine to write the character of Jocelyn, probably autograph signed by the curé of Bussières (1910). -Raphaël.
