Includes the Essai sur le siècle de LouisXIV, banned by the censors, and numerous verse pieces on Man, fanaticism, the physics of Newton, Descartes, Malebranche, Fontenelle, etc. A copy bound with the coat of arms of Jean-Claude Fauconnet de Vildé, Councillor of the City of Paris (gilded coat of arms on the boards, OHR, pl.n°1654). -Collection of new fugitive pieces in prose and verse. Ibid. In-12, bound in the Recueil volume above. First edition of this collection of plays, partly original (Bengesco, n°2195). Includes a short story, and poetic pieces, mainly circumstantial. Bound at the end, Voltaire's Poésies diverses (64pp.) from the volume LaLigue ou Henri le Grand published in 1724 in Amsterdam by Henri Desbordes. A reader in the eighteenth century inscribed in ink on the last page a response to the last poem in Voltaire's collection, based on Jean Racine's poem de la Grâce. -LeRusse à Paris. S.l.n.n., [1760]. Comprising (2d of which the second blank)-213-(one blank)pp. it is not listed by Georges Bengesco.
