In-8, lxx-(2)-262-(2)pp. in marbled brown basane, spine ribbed, cloisonné and fleuronné with garnet title-piece, decorated edges, red edges; binding rubbed with worn corners, one with leather loss, second plate with wetness and a few wormholes, stain on frontispiece (period binding). First edition. Copper-engraved illustration: frontispiece by Dominique Sornique after Charles Eisen, title vignette by Simon Fokke, and headband with the coat of arms of the Republic of Geneva by the same Simon Fokke after Pierre Soubeyran. Provenance: "C. Antiq." (copper-engraved bookplate).
