Charming pocket-sized atlas originally published in 1659, containing "essential information for the reader of the seventeenth century" according to Mireille Pastoureau, who has not listed this edition in her bibliography (DuvalX). 72 copper-engraved plates, 36 of which are double-page and mounted on mitre, including: a double-page general title, a special title, a double-page map table, 34 double-page maps, 35 heraldic representations. Bound with the title of another atlas by Pierre Duval, LaFrance sous le roy LouisXIV. ÀParis, chez l'auteur, 1667.
