Small in-12, parchment bradel with covers, grotesquely decorated cloisonné spine with brown title page, edges formerly speckled (modern binding). First edition. -Corneille (Pierre). LeThéâtre. ÀParis, chez Pierre Trabouillet (vol.I) puis Paris, chez Guillaume de Luynes (vol.II-III), chez Estienne Loyson (vol.IV), 1682. 4volumes in-12, calf; slightly worn bindings (contemporary binding). Definitive edition, the last published by the author. One portrait and 4 copper-engraved frontispieces hors texte. A composite copy with disparate bindings; the portrait and frontispiece in the first volume are flyleaves from another copy.
