1962 PORSCHE 356 B Cabriolet 1600 S Chassis no. 157041 Engine n° AT-P-732753 Hard top French registration 90 000 / 110 000 € The Porsche 356 B features radically altered lines: modified fender curves, higher headlamps, higher bumper, new front light grilles, two plate lights in the rear bumper, modified front apron, new hood arrow, new hubcaps with brand logo, deflectors on the coupé and cabriolet, revised interior with new steering wheel and 40 mm shorter gearshift. The model presented is a 356 B cabriolet. It was delivered new in Germany. Its color was ivory and the interior was in red leather. This configuration is still current. It was delivered with the following options: chromed openwork wheels; 2 armrests, anti-glare interior mirror and chromed horn ring. The Reutter body number matches the chassis number, and the paint code is 738. The original engine was a 616/12 with 75 hp, which was replaced by a 616/15 of the same power. From 2004 to 20012, it belonged to a collector in Saint Estève (66). The file includes invoices for this maintenance. It was then sold to our collector in 2013.
