A beautiful 875 thousandths vermeil (84 zolotniki) CUP and saucer, the cup of pan-shaped and flared form, the saucer round and convex, the whole decorated with partially niello on a sandblasted background of geometric foliage. Work of Vasily Semenov, Moscow, before 1899. Good condition. Dim. H. 7.5 x Diam. 10 cm (for the cup); Diam. 14 cm (for the saucer). Total gross weight: 288 g.
