Color lithograph on paper

Imprimerie Draeger, Paris
Size: 158 x 116 cm
Canvas poster. Traces of moisture, scratches and slight tears.
The artist's poster features a dynamic drawing of a racing driver at the wheel of a Peugeot, probably an L-76 that raced at Indianapolis. A strong, dynamic image underlined by Peugeot's beautiful, instantly readable typography, this poster packs a real punch. René Vincent conveys the feeling of speed, power and refinement of Peugeot automobiles! The vehicle seems to be flying at high speed - hurtling towards a sure victory - leaving behind a cloud of dust, revealing the colors of the French flag in this plume of smoke. This is one of René Vincent's finest creations.
