1995 Ferrari F355 GTS - Lot 110
1995 Ferrari F355 GTS Chassis ZFFPA42B000100736 French registration Exceptional car Delivered new in France Well equipped Timeless configuration Sold with all these notebooks Timing belts replaced in 2021 Launched at the 1994 Geneva Motor Show, the Ferrari F355, although based on the 348, quickly made the brand forget its predecessor, becoming one of its greatest successes. Its design, by PININFARINA, is a modernization of the 348. The slimmer, more rounded lines are very much in keeping with the Ferrari range of the second half of the 90s. Equipped with the fabulous 380-hp 3,496cm3 V8, this exceptional power is due to the introduction of a 5th valve per cylinder. This configuration produced 109 hp per liter, a record at the time for a naturally-aspirated engine. Available at launch in two body styles: Berlinetta and GTS, both paired with the exceptional 6-speed manual gearbox. Evolving over the course of its career, a Spider body appeared in 1995 and an F1 robotized gearbox was launched in 1997. The example we present is a 1995 F355 GTS equipped with the 6-speed manual gearbox. Giallo modena with black leather interior, this 355 is well equipped, including the desirable GTS roof to match the exterior color and the retrofitted Challenge grille. (The original grille is supplied with the car). This example was delivered new by the Auto-Palace dealership in Mandelieu via Charles Pozzi on January 31, 1995, to a certain Monsieur Sanial, residing in Saint Paul de Vence. Thereafter, the car was regularly serviced within the Ferrari network, or by Ferrari specialists. Since 2015, the car has been maintained by LDO Racing, the famous specialist from whom our collector acquired this superb car in 2019. In 2021, when the timing belt was replaced, the engine was removed and all the engine gaskets were replaced. Today, with 74,000km on the clock, this F355 GTS is running well. One of the best cars of the '90s, the F355 is today a true collector's item, especially for well-configured examples like ours. ERRATUM: technical inspection for pollution, a small leak in the coolant tank. 1995 Ferrari F355 GTS Chassis ZFFPA42B000100736 French registration Exceptional car Delivered new in France Well equipped Timeless configuration Sold with all these booklets Timing belts replaced in 2021 Launched at the 1994 Geneva Motor Show, the Ferrari F355, although based on the 348, quickly made its predecessor forgotten, becoming one of the marque's greatest successes.
