MAMELOUK BLUNDERBUSS. Round barrel flared at the muzzle, with thunderbolt sides, engraved "Entse BOUTET" and hallmarked "D. P.B. - T2B - RF". Flat-body lock stamped and engraved "Mre Imple de Versailles". Dog type An 9. Oval brass basin with spark guard. Inlaid and cut brass fittings, hallmarked. Rod with iron ring. Short-barrel cheek stock in walnut, stamped "EF 1806 - AC - DC", punched "JC" and marked (awkwardly with a knife) "AOI". Keel-type iron ramrod. Length: 79.3 cm. Diameter: 38 mm at the mouth. A.B.E. First Empire period (small traces of pitting on the barrel and insects on the frame), perfect marking and signature. History : A total of 73 snap hooks were manufactured. 48 in 1806 and 25 in 1810.
