Helmet of light horseman of the House of the King, model 1814.
Bomb and visor in black leather. Crest cut in dragon wing, enriched with lightning bolts, bomb motif in foliage scrolls, radiating headband enriched with lightning bolts and a banner "SENSERE GIGANTES" ("Terrasser les géants"), adorned with a silver fleur-de-lys, in gilt brass. Posterior lion's nose cone and velvet lined chinstrap with scales, gilded brass plume holder. Brush in black horsehair. Cordonet of attachment of the chinstraps in golden thread trimming. Inside cap in leather and black canvas
(repair to the leather of the bomb, repair to the front of the crest cold gilded trimmings, reconditioned helmet)
With two documents of attribution to Mr. Prosper Lemoine de BLANGERMONT (died 1849), bodyguard of the King (Company of Luxembourg)
