Poster signed lower right "G. Rochegrosse". Printed by Barreau in Paris. 162 x 92 cm, canvas covered. The 3rd edition did not take place in June 1900 but from January 25 to February 10, 1901, and it was at the end of the same year under the name of the "4th International Exhibition - Motorcycle and Sports Show", that the Show was organised, from December 10 to December 25, for the second time at the Grand Palais! Indeed, it was during the Universal Exhibition that the Grand Palais was inaugurated on May 1, 1900, and it served as the setting for the Motor Show, Cycle Show and Sports Show until 1961. The history of these pioneers, such as Baron Étienne van Zuylen van Nyevelt - the first president and founding member of the Automobile Club de France (ACF) in 1895 - who from 1899 to 1913 was the organiser of a legendary show.
