1965 PORSCHE - Lot 71
1965 PORSCHE Type : 911 2L S Serial number : 304728 French registration card Indicating year 1967 135 000 / 155 000 € This Porsche 911 2.0 SWB has been fully prepared to race and has its Historic Technical Passport. It complies with the GTS 11 category. All the equipment is new (2021, 2022). The bodywork has been stripped, the front and rear fenders have been changed, the floors and the underbody have been reinforced. Its engine is a 2L S from 1969. Big pistons, big valves, a big cylinder head and a camshaft from Carrera 6 (911 R) were installed. It has a Solex carburetor. An oil cooler has been installed in the right front wing. A gearbox radiator for endurance events has been positioned in the left front wing. The gearbox has been optimized with shorter ratios like a thousand revolutions. A file of invoices of this restoration will be given to the buyer. This one began in 2016 and 2017 for the bodywork (Etablissements Borderon in Soyaux and Dufaud always in Soyaux). The mechanics was made by the establishments Rochereau and Villard in Puy du Maine from 2018. The last adjustments have just been made. It is of course eligible for the 2.0 cup. The 2.0L Cup is the only one-design series by Peter Auto. It is reserved to Porsche 911 2 liters short chassis in accordance with the FIA regulations pre-1966. This series was created with the British Lee Maxted-Page and James Turner (Sports Purpose). Here the difference is not really the car - because everyone is on equal terms - but the driver. The short-chassis 911 is a full-body car. It is a flat-6 engine rear-wheel drive. As a result, the steering at high speeds is a bit light and it's best to stay focused. A 100% fun car to drive! This Porsche 911 SWB is delivered with its FFSA PTH, as well as its FFSA identity sheet. 1965 PORSCHE Type: 911 2L S Serial number : 304728 French registration Indicating year 1967 135 000 / 155 000 € This Porsche 911 2.0 SWB has been fully prepared for racing and has its Historic Technical Passport.
