1962 Triumph TR3A - Lot 42
1962 Triumph TR3A Chassis number: TS77152L French collector's registration Coming out of a major overhaul The Triumph TR3 left the factory in 1955. At the end of 1957, it was lengthened by one A with a few improvements. These were recognizable by the exterior door handles. The engine increased from 95 to 100 HP, but the 1991cm3 4-cylinder remained as on the two previous versions. The Triumph TR3A is one of the must-have models of the late 1950s and early 1960s. The entire yéyé era succumbed to its charm, including Johnny Halliday, who found in it his first ride as soon as he had his driving license. A reliable, sturdy sports car, cruiser or racer, it offered drivers and passengers alike nothing but advantages, and is still regarded as emblematic of the period. The car we are offering for sale is in very good condition, both aesthetically and mechanically, and we have an extensive file of invoices dating back to 2010, showing the meticulous maintenance this car has undergone since then. The current owner recently carried out a major overhaul, during which he overhauled the ignition, carburetion, brakes and lubrication. The car is very sound and runs perfectly. It has a valid MOT. 1962 Triumph TR3A Chassis number: TS77152L French collector's registration Coming out of a major overhaul The Triumph TR3 left the factory in 1955.
