LARGE AND FINE DWARF, (IRAN), CIRCA 1975 Beige field with scrolls of fine crenellated stems in rings of flowering palmettes framing a central rosette with an ivory and sky-blue floral crown. Four spandrels reminiscent of the central medallion. Seven borders, the main one ivory with interlacing stylized floral bulbs. High-quality silky lambswool velvet, flowers surrounded by silk on cotton foundations. 302 x 197 cm Density. Approx. 7,000 knots per dm² (Good general condition)
