FRANCE ORDRE DE LA LEGION D'HONNEUR Commander's Star, Fourth Republic 1946-1958. Star with five double white enamelled rays with buttoned points (diameter 6 cm). The plant crown is formed of a branch of oak and laurel leaves and enhanced with green enamel. The obverse is bordered by a blue enamelled listel bearing the inscription "République Française". The reverse is bordered by a blue enamelled scroll (chip) bearing the motto: "Honneur et Patrie". The bélière is represented in a crown of oak leaves and laurel. Missing on the tie in moiré silk. With its original case. Total height with crown: 7 cm T.B.E.
