BOISSY D'ANGLAS (1756-1826). L.A.S. ADDRESSED TO ANTOINE FRANÇOIS DELANDINE (1756-1820), Paris, February 14, 1807. 3 pages, with address and red wax seal "FAIS BIEN ET LAISSE DIRE". He thanks him for the nice things he said about him "your suffrage is one of those of which I glory the most because it is that of a good man". He tells him about the election of two correspondents for the Institute: Vincens St Laurens and Fauris de St Vincent. B.E. Biographies : Antoine François DELANDINE Lawyer at the parliament of Dijon and at the parliament of Paris, Delandine was elected deputy of Forez to the States General. He became, thereafter, the first director of the municipal library of Lyon between 1803 and 1820. François BOISSY D'ANGLAS (1756- 1826). Lawyer, deputy to the States General (1789) and then to the Convention (1792), he was president of this assembly during the popular riot of the 1st prairial year III : his firmness finally got the better of the sectionaries.
