Charles ARMAND DUMARESCQ Important of seventeen documents and photographs relating to the painter ARMAND DURESSCQ including: -Photograph in business card format, in uniform in his studio, wearing his decorations. It seems to be the counterpart of the one kept in the collections of the Musée d'Orsay, by Erwin Hanfstaengl, presenting the painter in his work clothes in the same environment. -Cabinet size photograph of Prince Victor in artillery uniform by Nadar. This photograph will serve as a model for the portrait of Prince Victor made in 1885 (Osenat, sale of July 1, 2018, lot 348) -Four cabinet format photographs of the painter, in his last years: a) one by Eugène PIROU, dedicated and signed on the back "to the friend Chanot. August 1892" b) one by Ad BRAUN & Cie. c) one by Pierre PETIT. d) a) one by NADAR, dedicated and signed on the back "to my son Jean. 1892 " -Roadmap of officer of the central administration of the Army of Italy, dated June 1, 1859, to go as painter of the Ministry of War to the headquarters of the Marshal Major General of the Army of Italy. -Patent in the name of the painter of the bronze cross of the international work, voluntary help on the battlefields, in the ambulances and hospitals. Dated July 2, 1871. The painter is distinguished for the services rendered to the ambulances of Tonnerre (Yonne) during the fights of 1870-1871. -Patent of the silver medal of the Conference of the Societies of help to the wounded soldiers of the armies of land and sea. Header with the red cross. Done on September 8, 1867. -Authorization to wear the Knight's Cross of the Order of the North Star in the name of the painter, headed with the great imperial arms. Decoration painted and enhanced with gold. July 4, 1868. On vellum. Accompanied by the documents relative to the delivery of this decoration. -Imperial passport on paper of the First Empire period. In the name of the artist's mother Amélie Castel Dumaresq, living in Caen to go to England. Made at the Tuileries on November 20, 1810. Signed by the Emperor Napoleon I "Napole" and Savary Duke of Rovigo. Dry stamp with the big coat of arms (Bends).
