Pair of walnut folding chairs, with openwork backs and legs, the seat upholstered in leather (redone). Attributed to François-Honoré-Georges Jacob dit Jacob-Desmalter. Empire period, around 1810-1815. H?: 91 cm, W?: 40 cm A suite of ten comparable chairs attributed to Jacob-Desmalter are now preserved at the Mobilier National in Paris ("The Eagle and the Butterfly.
