1972 FIAT DINO 2400
"1972 FIAT DINO 2400 Serial number: 0004838 Low original mileage Car in very good condition French title If the Ferrari Dino series is very well known, its Fiat counterpart is a little less known. However, their history is inseparable. Indeed, it is in the 60's that Fiat enters the capital of the prancing horse brand. The latter wanted to have its new Dino engine (initiated by Dino Ferrari, Enzo's son) approved. To do this, at least 500 cars must be produced. Thus, the production of the Fiat Dino begins in 1967. A convertible will be available, along with a coupe whose line will be signed Bertone. The car will first be powered by the 2.0L. It is in 1969 that it is reworked and embarks then the 2.4L with cast iron block and aluminum cylinder head. It then goes from 160 to 180 horsepower. Without any successor car, the Fiat Dino, all bodies and engines included, will have been produced at 7 651 units. The car we present today is one of the 2,398 Dino coupe in 2.4L. Not very common then! It is in very good general condition, both on the body and on the white paint. The chromes that dress it are sparkling. The underside of the car is free of rust. The car is equipped with the original power steering and four disc brakes. The engine runs smoothly and its noise from its stainless steel line will give you complete satisfaction from 3500 rpm. The manual gearbox works without any problem. The interior of the car is in good general condition. If you are looking for an affordable Ferrari engine, this is the car for you.
