1953 FIAT TOPOLINO C
"1953 FIAT TOPOLINO C Recent restoration Popular and endearing Ideal for the summer period FFVE certificate The first generation Fiat 500, nicknamed Topolino (Mickey's name in Italian, meaning "little mouse") by the Italians, is a car model designed by Fiat and produced between 1936 and 1955. It is often reported, without exact proof, that this tiny car was born from the will of the fascist dictator Benito Mussolini, then in power in Italy. Just like the Volkswagen Beetle wanted by Adolf Hitler in Germany, the Topolino was to offer the people the possibility to have a simple, easy to use and efficient means of transportation. This was done with the launch of the Fait 500. A real popular success, the model sold more than 500,000 units. Produced from 1948 to 1955, the third generation Fiat 500 Topolino C benefits from a complete restyling with a square and vertical front end. The interior now has a heating system as standard, an accessory sold as an option on foreign mid-range cars. The mechanical novelty is the aluminum cylinder head. The model we are presenting is part of the third series of Topolino, with a completely different bodywork from the first one. The car has been completely restored. The bodywork is clean. It is painted in two shades of green which gives it a particular charm. The interior has been completely restored and is in very good condition. It should be noted that the car is sold with its certificate for obtaining a registration certificate "vehicle of collection"
