Bound in full olive-green morocco, spines, richly decorated with gilded fleurons (slightly sunned) Ex-libris, on vignette engraved by Baron and stuck on the counter page of guard, of Mrs. Victoire. Manuscript bookplate Ch. de Lacharrière on the title page of the 1st volume. (Charlotte de Lacharrière, née de Montrond de La Bâtie) Jacques Ladreyt de lacharrière, who appeared at the assembly of the nobility of Montélimar in 1789 had married in 1773 Charlotte de Montrond de La Bâtie. Victoire Marie Louise Thérèse de France, known as Madame Fifth and then Madame Victoire , born in Versailles on May 11, 1733 and died in Trieste on June 7, 1799, is one of the eight daughters of King Louis XV and Marie Leszczyńska.
