A radical change for Triumph in the early 1960's when the iconic yet rustic TR3 was replaced by the TR4 with more modern lines and a more civilized driving style.
Designed by Michelotti, the convertible is a clever mix between a transalpine design and a British character. Its robust 2.2L engine, carried over from its predecessor, develops 105 horsepower and proves to be quite reliable under all possible driving conditions. The TR4 is easier to drive and requires less grip. It is now aimed at all enthusiasts and lovers of sensations.

With its 4 seats, the TR4 is more spacious and comfortable, the dashboard is completely revised as well as the seat made to swallow miles.

Delivered new in 1965 and bought by the current owner two years later, our Triumph TR4 A is in a magnificent state of restoration; everything has been entirely revised, reviewed and replaced.

The bodywork was stripped and put on a spit to check the smallest details of corrosion and defects; the current owner chose this paint which suits him very well.

The mechanics have also been entirely restored and now run wonderfully with a beautiful raucous sound comfortably installed in a beige leather interior.

True mistress of the current owner, he gave a second youth to his 20 years old car; come to perpetuate the adventure of this passionate of English cars and enjoy a car in better condition than out of the dealer.
