1962 TRIUMPH METISSE MK 3
500cc Triumph is a British motorbike manufacturer that began producing motorbikes in 1902. At the same time, brothers Derek and Don Rickman started competing in motocross but, wanting lighter machines, decided to produce their own motorbike frames. Coupled with 500cc two-stroke engines, the Rickman bikes began to gain momentum in competition until the two brothers racked up wins in 1959, 1960, 1963, 1964 and 1966. This Triumph is in relatively good condition. The yellow paint covering the entire fairing is still quite clean. The seat has no holes and the engine looks sound. It is equipped with front and rear suspension and the rims do not show any rust, nor does the frame. This 1962 500cc only needs an engine overhaul to follow in the footsteps of the Rickman brothers.
