1961 GREEVES 250
Serial number: 086 ECX 1861 Frame number: 24 MCS/2/1559 Greeves Motorcycles was a British motorbike manufacturer founded by Bert Greeves. Greeves produced motorbikes from 1952 onwards. After numerous victories in trial motorbike competitions and the development of a thriving US export market, the original company ceased operations following a fire in 1977. This Greeves left the factory in 1961. It is equipped with a 250cc two stroke engine. The swingarm, rear loop and fork are painted blue while the tank and fenders are brushed aluminum. The bike has green plates that can accommodate a number. The tank is sunken in places, the black seat is still in good condition, as are the rims. The bike needs an overhaul so that the engine runs well. A cosmetic preparation is also to be expected. This rare Greeves is waiting for an enthusiast to return to the starting grid.
