1947 HARLEY DAVIDSON KNUCKLEHEAD
Produced from 1936 to 1947, the Harley Davidson type 61 is nicknamed "Knucklehead" by enthusiasts because of the shape of its rocker covers. The Type 61 is equipped with a 1200cc twin cylinder engine and a 4-speed hand shift gearbox with a foot clutch. The valves of the Knucklehead engine are operated by rocker arms and the lubrication is done by an oil circulation system. This Harley Davidson is a 1947 vintage, the last year before the Panhead. The bike is turquoise green with a black leather seat. A unique rear view mirror and a speedometer on the tank give it a truly vintage look. The bike is in good condition.
